and Herbal Treatment

HERB LIST: a general overview of many of the herbs used to treat health problems and maintain health. Many ailments and illness have been successfully treated using an herbal remedy, the natural way to health without chemicals. Many herbs support and maintain an already healthy system to prevent disease, while others treat specific problems in the body in a way that is natural. Herbal healing should be understood as a whole health regime, and used for that end. Understanding how herbs affect the body and which ones are specific for an illness is important in choosing which herbal remedy to use. Cross reference a condition from our HERB GUIDE, then look up the specific herbs listed to decide which ones are best for maintaining health, or used for everything from a natural acne treatment, for menopause symptoms, memory improvement, to indigestion, constipation or arthritis. Combinations of herbs work best in certain illnesses, while single herbs are used for specific complaints.

Herbs should be used with caution if you are on a prescribed medication. Consult your primary medical practitioner before you begin using an herbal treatment.
